There is a Rose

in bloom in the
garden.

and on hot summer
days

when death and
destruction

seem to greet
you

from
every television
screen

and newspaper
stand--

it is sometimes just
enough

to notice a rose in
bloom

in a
garden.



It's True, Blue

the act of creation
is similar to anything else
deemed good or great
or godly--

you just have to wait
and wait and wait
for it to come
right

and remember that many
more men have
died through
ambition

as opposed to
idleness.
