Felino A. Soriano - Two Poems

Impartation

The varicose love
revealed by fallen
recollection of unalarmed feather
sways and conveys
anecdotal fallacies
corrupting the original facet of life’s
orchestrated connection:
into avifauna’s aerial manipulation,
age again releases strength of
corporeal temporal understanding
thus, pertaining to death’s lineage of shape
affirmation upon ground-embrace
concrete realization of feather’s housed
configuration, disallows
detriment to the body’s removal
miles from the landing now
enveloped by architectural
shadow.

Sound’s Reverberating Desolation

Horn of caw
calls from swollen bell
-tongue apparition
voiceless dichotomy
dialectical persuasion: voice
of broken leisure. Speech
ambulates, dictates personal
involution, containing etches
of subjective motivation
gregarious by words and delinquent
listening, reaching
into the echo’s protocol of
denial and movement’s
circumvolving departure.
