I May Not be Perfect
i saw this black
woman in a video
chat room had a
t-shirt on that said
i may not be perfect
but parts of me are
pretty fucking
awesome
that made me
laugh
but still didn't
convince me to
spend seven dollars
a minute to figure
out which parts
The Proper Motivation
broken faces crying
over the milk dripping
off of broken dreams
clipped tongues
remember a simpler
time
all of us have a good
riot inside of us
we lack the proper
motivation for a
revolution
a vanishing kiss upon
the last shooting star
of the night
wishes are for those
that believe in such
bullshit
the neon lights fade
into some distant
memory of nearly
the taste of your
skin
the smell of your
sweat
imagine the horror
if anyone would
ever find out
Reflecting on Failure
middle of april
and they are
saying there's
a chance of
snow overnight
my horoscope
said today that
the person i am
in love with is
in love with me
i told her this
and she laughed
out loud
i believe the word
bullshit came out
but the connection
was bad
another lonely night
reflecting on failure
all my beautiful
mistakes built this
and i get punished
every time i venture
outside the comfort
of isolation
sharpen the knives
and make sure we
have enough bullets
to go round
this bloody revolution
shall end tonight
